Family Support LogoSupport 360 LogoShannon Fausey's artworkText Box: Kelly Buckland, Executive Director of Idaho State Independent Living Council (SILC) was honored by Hewlett-Packard by receiving their 2005 Distinguished Leadership in Human Rights Award on May 24, 2005.  In recognition of this award, artwork was commissioned to portray the amazing people throughout Idaho who have worked tirelessly to achieve equality for individuals with disabilities. According to artist Shannon Fausey, Buckland insisted that the piece be completed by an artist with a disability.  She was pleased when she was chosen for this honor and now this Boise resident will have her artwork on display in Idaho’s Capitol Building (4th floor).

Text Box:   Fausey has created works that are now part of the permanent collection at the White  House and has received many awards and accolades.  Her art has been displayed throughout the west, in Washington D.C. and overseas.  For more information or to view her artwork, visit her website at www.shannonfausey.com or contact her at 208-938-2238.
